Rising East London spitter PAA.K (pronounced pah kay) is back with new material. Earlier this week, he shared visuals for his latest single, “Nutty Prof.”. The two-minute banger sees the 23-year-old wordsmith deploy nonchalant flows over a warm, jazz-rap-tinged backdrop.

For the visuals—directed by Luke Annett—PAA.K gives viewers a tour of his local stomping group, as we catch a notable cameo from fellow rapper/designer Zino Vinci.

The video for “Nutty Prof." go the extra mile, fully kitted out with alternating fish eyes lens shots and cinematic colour grading.

“Nutty Prof.” follows PAA.K’s 2021 trap-driven cut “Stone Cold” and his debut 2020 track “Wide Open.” Despite only clocking in at just over 120 seconds, PAA.K’s latest offering is well worth a rewind—thanks to its classical yet timeless foundations.

Exercising the mantra of quality over quantity, “Nutty Prof.” demonstrates why PAA.K is one to watch in the UK rap sandbox.
